SINGAPORE - Visitors will be able to head down to the old Tanjong Pagar Railway Station on Vesak Day next Monday, as the station will be opened to the public
In a statement on Friday, the Singapore Land Authority said that members of the public will be able take photos or sketch their impressions of the historic site.
Visitors may also leave their drawings at the station's former ticketing counter, and some of the sketches may be displayed at the station's next open house.
The former Tanjong Pagar Railway Station was first opened to the public on public holidays in Feb this year, on the second day of Chinese New Year.
More than 6,000 people also visited the station when it opened its doors on Good Friday in May.
