Glass panel falls off Springleaf Tower, no one injured

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) said it received news of a glass panel that had fallen off Springleaf Tower from the police on Tuesday morning.

BCA officers found that a glass panel on the exterior of the building had shattered and parts of the glass panel had fallen from a height of about 10 metres.

No one was injured in the incident, and the affected area has been cordoned off for public safety.

BCA also ordered the management corporation to engage a professional engineer or glass specialist to investigate the cause of the incident, as well as carry out checks to ensure that the existing glass panels and their fixtures are safe.
