Grace Fu to attend Asian-African Ministerial Meeting in Jakarta

Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Ms Grace Fu will lead Singapore's delegation to the Asian-African Ministerial Meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia on April 20, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) said in a statement on Sunday.

The Ministerial Meeting aims to strengthen South-South co-operation and inter-regional dialogue between Asian and African countries.

Ms Fu, who is also Second Minister for the Environment & Water Resources and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs, will deliver a national statement during the Plenary Session, as well as meet other ministers from Asian and African countries.

She will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The event will be chaired by Her Excellency Retno Marsudi, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Indonesia.
