SINGAPORE: Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Grace Fu will be attending the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, from Jan 21 to 24.
The meeting is a platform for leaders in government, industry and academia to engage in discussions and collaborative activities that seek to address evolving global challenges.
Ms Fu is scheduled to speak at several sessions, including session on issues related to water, ageing and how ageing populations can help drive economic growth, and transnational university partnerships and their potential to boost economic growth and job creation.
She will also take part in a session involving government and business leaders from ASEAN to discuss the future of ASEAN in the new global context, particularly with the creation of the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015.
Ms Fu will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
