Guys play hilarious prank on illegal cigarette peddlers in Geylang

A video on YouTube recently shows two men pulling pranks on contraband cigarette sellers in Geylang.

A contributor alerted citizen journalism website Stomp to the video, which was posted on Jan 14.

The video, posted by Merlion TV, shows a man going around the alleys in Geylang, asking about the contraband cigarettes from the street peddlers there.

Once the details of the products were given, the man then pretends to say some code words and call for reinforcement through an earpiece, giving the peddlers the impression that he is an undercover police officer.

As part of the prank, another man then runs out of nowhere and starts chasing the peddlers, who immediately ran away traumatized.
