SINGAPORE - Christmas came early for many revelers as Gardens by the Bay launched its Christmas Wonderland on Nov 28.
The sprawling grounds of the attraction was bathed entirely in the warm glow of Italian light sculptures. The sculptures were inspired by Baroque architecture from the 16th and 17th centuries.
The sight of an elaborate tent dressed in mirrors and beautifully assembled stained glass wowed festive-goers, while some took refuge in an European-style festive market.
For all its resplendent glory, the lights were all but forgotten as 'snow' fell to the delight of the children and excited onlookers.
Perhaps, Christmas does bring out the child in each of us after all.
