SINGAPORE - The bodies of three Singaporeans who were killed in a car crash on Christmas day have been cremated.

Mr Barnabas Lim, 45, his wife Kristen Ng, 39, and their son Rayshon Lim, 6, died when their Land Rover collided with a Malaysian-registered Toyota Corolla near Sungai Dohol bridge in Malaysia.

The 30-year-old female driver of the Toyota also died.

The Lim's youngest son, three-year-old Evan, is the only survivor of the crash.

According to Lianhe Wanbao, Evan is still being treated for burns in hospital and did not attend the funeral held on Tuesday. He remains unaware that his parents and brother have died.

Speaking to a Lianhe Wanbao reporter, Mr Barnabas Lim's brother said that the boy will be living with his maternal grandmother after being discharged. He said that while he had considered adopting Evan, he wanted Ms Ng's parents to be able to see their grandchild, especially since they have just lost their daughter.
