The Kampong Java Neighbourhood Police Centre's service counter is closed temporarily due to a fire that has disrupted power supply, said the police in a statement early Sunday morning.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF SERVICE COUNTER AT KAMPONG JAVA NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICE CENTRE
A switch box in the generator room of Tanglin Police Divisional Headquarters at 21 Kampong Java Road caught fire yesterday evening. The fire was contained within the generator room and was put out by SCDF using one water jet within 15 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
Preliminary investigations showed that the fire was accidental in nature. Investigations into the cause of the fire are on-going.
Arising from the fire, the power supply to Tanglin Police Divisional Headquarters and its co-located Kampong Java Neighbourhood Police Centre (NPC) has been disrupted. Hence, pending the completion of rectification works, the service counter at Kampong Java NPC will be closed till further notice.
However, calls made to Tanglin Police Divisional Headquarters and Kampong Java NPC will continue to be answered.
