KFC's Chizza just got one-upped by Pizza Hut's new Cheese Lovers' pizza

Forget everything you think you know about the comforting looks of a good old fashioned pizza.

These days, it seems fast food chains are caught in a headlock to see who can come up with the most eye-grabbing pie to entice customers.

Fresh on the trail of KFC's Chizza which is part fried chicken, part pizza, is Pizza Hut's latest culinary creation, the Cheese Lovers' pan pizza.

Innocuous in name, this pizza is anything but. In fact, you might find yourself either staring hard at it or slowly retreating to safety.

If you are prone to the latter, there is actually a condition you may have called trypophobia. It's a phobia of irregular patterns or clusters of bumps and small holes.

But fear not, everything you see on the pizza is edible.

Pizza Hut Singapore's website describes it as being your "cheesiest desire" with a "delightful mix of savoury cheeses like emmental, gouda, parmesan, edam, mozzarella and cream cheese.

You see, it's just cheese on top and not whatever else you see in your head.

A regular-sized pizza (six slices) goes for $23.50 while the large (eight slices) is priced at $30.50.

Incidentally, KFC, Pizza Hut as well as Taco Bell are owned by American food company Yum! Brands.
