Kids turn violent on dads

Two fathers in Kedah were injured by their children. One of the children allegedly used an axe to hit her father on the head, reported Harian Metro.

The victim was questioning his daughter who had returned to their Sungai Petani home late at about 10.30pm last Saturday.

However, the girl, in her 20s, was angry and told her stepfather not to interfere in her personal matters.

A fight than occurred and the girl took a knife in the kitchen and cut the 71-year-old's hand.

That was not the end as she proceeded to take an axe and hit him on the head till he bled.

The victim made a report at the local police station.

In Kulim, two brothers punched their 56-year-old father in the face after he reprimanded them for hitting their younger brother.

One of the brothers had accused his younger brother of stealing his handphone.

Their father returned home and asked for an explanation.

It resulted in a heated argument and the two brothers turned violent, punching their father.

One of the suspects allegedly reached for a parang and tried to injure the father but missed, dama­ging a motorcycle instead.

The father later lodged a police report.
