SINGAPORE - A signage on the exterior of City Square Mall along Kitchener Road caught fire on Saturday night.
A contributor to citizen journalism site Stomp reported that there was a fire at about 11.20pm.
According to the Singapore Civil Defence Force, the blaze started from a signboard erected on the exterior of the mall.
In a statement to STOMP, a SCDF spokesperson said:
"The incident happened at 11.08pm on Jan 4 at City Square Mall.
"We received a call alerting us to a signage that was on fire.
"We dispatched two fire engines, which arrived in four minutes.
"The fire was extinguished using one waterjet."
