SINGAPORE - A concerned netizen, Rcyanne, was worried when she came across listings of limited SG50 Lego sets selling for over $100 on Carousell.

Rcyanne posted on online citizen website, Stomp, that the limited edition Lego sets were given free to students and Ministry of Education (MOE) staff, so it should not be made available to the public or be put up for sale on public forums.

In an email to Stomp, Rcyanne wrote:

"These posts on were made on Carousell recently, only a few weeks after the boxes of Legos were given to all students and teachers in MOE.

"Personally, I think that such activity is inappropriate and it is against the values of the manufacturers of the Lego sets in conjunction with the celebration of SG50."
