Madam Wong told her husband while sobbing into the phone that the angry crowd at Race Course Road were trying to smash the bus windows with whatever they could lay their hands on.

The male Singaporean driver, who was warded at Tan Tock Seng hospital earlier today, is being investigated for causing death by a negligent act.

The driver of the private bus, a 55-year-old Singaporean, has been arrested for Causing Death by Negligent Act under Section 304A(b), Penal Code Cap 224 and is assisting Traffic Police with investigations.
