Loan sharks bite wrong victim

PASIR GUDANG - A kindergarten teacher Rosidah Ahmad is worried sick for the safety of her family after loan sharks attacked her home here twice in a week.

Rosidah, 49, said that the moneylenders had mistakenly attacked her home, thinking that they were the borrowers.

She claimed that her neighbour was the actual borrower but the loan sharks were confused and attacked her home instead.

"My family has never borrowed money from loan-sharks and it is an irresponsible attitude of my neighbour who put us in danger," she told reporters when met at her home along Jalan Tasek 28 here on Wednesday.

Rosidah said that the first attack took place when two men chained and locked her home when her son was inside the house on Dec 23 last year.

The second attack happened on New Year's eve when some men splashed red paint all over her front porch causing damages to her cars.

"I am afraid of what they will do next, and the worst part is that my family is innocent but have become victims for no reason," she added.
