London Mayor Boris Johnson hops on an MRT train to meet PM Lee

SINGAPORE - Mayor of London Boris Johnson hopped onto an MRT train to meet Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Friday during his visit to Singapore.

He posted a picture in Twitter of him sitting next to an elderly couple, along with this caption: "Riding Singapore's gleaming tube - the MRT - this morning on the way to a meeting with the PM".

He later posted a photo of his meeting with PM Lee and wrote: Good discussion with PM Lee on trade, Europe and opportunities for growth between London and the UK & Singapore".

The Mayor also visited the site where the new Terminal 4 of Changi Airport is being constructed, and has been actively tweeting his activities around Singapore, including posing in front of Singapore's iconic skyline at the Marina Bay area.
