M1 customers to get free calls, messages, local data over National Day weekend

SINGAPORE - Local telco M1 will be allowing customers to make free voice calls, send free SMS/ MMS messages and use local mobile data for free during the SG50 National Day weekend.

The offer will extend to both post-paid and pre-paid customers of M1.

It will take effect automatically at midnight on August 7 and will end at 23:59 on August 10.

M1's Chief Marketing Officer, Mr P. Subramaniam, said: "Singapore is widely acknowledged to be one of the world's most connected societies, and we are proud to be part of this remarkable story for the last 18 years.

"As a Singapore company, we want to do our part to mark this milestone celebration, and what better way to do that than allow our customers to freely share their joys and wishes for our nation with each other, on this very special occasion," he added.
