If found guilty, he faces the mandatory death sentence.

Judge Noor Hafizah Mohd Salim set June 25 for next mention pending the post-mortem report.

Deputy public prosecutor B. Uma Devi Balasubramaniam prosecuted.

The couple were due to get married after Hari Raya.

It was earlier reported that Rosshida was believed to have committed suicide because a note thought to be written by her was found next to her body.
