SINGAPORE - The annual retreat between leaders from Singapore and Malaysia will take place from May 4 to 5 in Singapore.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement Sunday that Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak visit Singapore for the 6th Singapore-Malaysia Leaders' Retreat with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
The retreat is a key bilateral platform for the Prime Ministers to drive relations forward.
Prime Minister Lee and Mrs Lee will host a private dinner for Prime Minister Najib and his wife Datin Sri Rosmah Mansor on Monday.
They will then meet on Tuesday morning together with their ministerial delegations for bilateral discussions
In the evening after the retreat, Prime Minister Najib will deliver a keynote address at the Economic Society of Singapore's Annual Dinner at the Shangri-La Hotel, which will be attended by Prime Minister Lee.
Prime Minister Najib will be accompanied by his wife Datin Sri Rosmah Mansor and a high-level delegation comprising several Malaysian Cabinet Ministers and senior officials. The Singapore delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister, Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs Teo Chee Hean and several Cabinet Ministers.
