Man, 33, hits 30-year-old stepson with iron rod after quarrel

A 30-year-old lorry driver was hit on his head following a fight with his 33-year-old stepfather.

China Press reported that the lorry driver was intoxicated when he started hurling abuses at his stepfather at their home in Kajang at about 3.20am on Monday.

He was said to be unhappy that his mother, in her 50s, had married the man, who is about his age, a year ago.

A fight ensued between them and the stepfather hit the man's head with an iron rod, which affected his hearing.

The man lodged a report at the police station and the stepfather was later arrested at their house.
