Man, 42, faints in subordinate court

SINGAPORE- A man, 42, fainted yesterday at the Subordinate Courts, beside the Small Claims Tribunal.

It is believed that he had been waiting for his turn when he fell, clutching his chest.

While on the floor, he continued to writhe about in pain as security guards came to check what happened.

Witnesses nearby said that he had suffered a heart attack.

A Singapore Civil Defence Force spokesman said that they received a call at 11.29am and sent an ambulance to the location within eight minutes.

Paramedics were seen attaching defibrillator leads to the man before taking him from the building. He was taken to the Singapore General Hospital.
