Man, 60, arrested for giving old address to loan sharks

SINGAPORE - Police have arrested a 60-year-old man for giving a false address to loan sharks.

While investigating cases of loanshark harassment on Tuesday, officers nabbed the suspect in Bukit Batok East Avenue 4 for his involvement in loansharking activities.

They found that he was a debtor who had used his previous residential address to get illegal loans. His actions caused the flat's current owner and occupants to be victims of loan-shark harassment.

Investigations also showed that the suspect had failed to report the change of his residential address within 28 days. Investigations are ongoing.
