Man, 66, nabbed for causing mischief to vehicles

SINGAPORE - Police have arrested a 66-year-old man in relation to a case of shop theft and a series of mischief cases.

On Jan 28 at about 3.45pm, the police were alerted to a series of mischief cases along Goldhill Avenue, where the wipers of vehicles had been bent.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect is also believed to have committed shop theft at Goldhill Avenue after committing the alleged acts of mischief.

After establishing the identity of the suspect, he was arrested on Feb 3.

He will be charged in court on June 18 for the offences of theft in dwelling and mischief. The offences carry an imprisonment term of up to 7 years and 1 year respectively.
