SINGAPORE - Police have arrested a 30-year-old man, who is suspected to be involved in a case of Outrage of Modesty.
According to a police statement, a 30-year-old female victim had lodged a police report on Dec 25, 2014, claiming that she was molested in a supermarket at Jurong West.
Following investigations, the police were able to ascertain the identity and whereabouts of the suspect, and arrested him on Jan 7, 2015.
The suspect will be charged in court on Jan 9. If convicted, he may be jailed up to 2 years or fined, or be liable to caning.
