Man arrested for molesting woman

SINGAPORE - A 24-year-old man who is believed to have molested a woman was arrested last Friday.

 

His victim was walking along New Upper Changi Road on Friday, Aug 15, at about 9pm, when he allegedly touched her thigh before running away.

 

He was detained at Block 29, New Upper Changi Road with help from members of the public at about 10.30pm.

 

The man will be charged in court tomorrow, for outrage of modesty. If convicted, he may be jailed for up to 2 years, fined, caned, or be subject to a combination of all punishments.
