Man arrested for stealing from vehicles

SINGAPORE - A 46-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly committing a series of thefts from vehicles.

Police received several reports this month from victims who discovered their valuables were missing from their vehicles.

Following extensive ground enquiries, police said they established the identity of the suspect, who was arrested yesterday at Jurong West Ave 5.

He will be charged in court tomorrow for theft and if found guilty, he faces a jail term of up to three years and/or fined.
