Man on ledge at Tampines block rescued by SCDF

A man was seen standing on the ledge of Block 407, Tampines Street 41 yesterday (Jan 21).
According to a contributor to citizen journalism website Stomp, the man on the ledge was actually trying to repair his windows when he got stuck on the parapet.
The Stomp contributor said that he then alerted the police and SCDF and they arrived on the scene within three minutes.
He said: "The man stood on the ledge and was not able to pull himself back into the flat so he was stuck there.
"The SCDF came and pulled him back into the flat"
He added that he would like to commend the SCDF and police for arriving on the scene almost immediately.
