Man left bleeding after accident involving 10 vehicles at Yishun Ave 1

A massive accident involving five taxis, three cars, a minibus and a motorcycle occurred at the junction of Lentor Avenue and Yishun Avenue 1 on Saturday (Dec 5) at about 12.58am.

Facebook user Leous A-Hao A-Lee uploaded photos from the accident scene onto his Facebook page.

In the photos, a rider can be seen lying on the ground. One taxi's bumper was completely dismantled. An ambulance was also pictured on the scene.

A spokesperson from the Singapore Police Force gave Stomp the following statement:

"Police received a call on 5 December 2015 at about 12.58am informing us of an accident at the junction of Lentor Avenue and Yishun Avenue 1.

"Upon Police's arrival, it was established that an accident involving one minibus, one motorcycle, three cars and five taxis had occurred at the said location.

"Three men aged between 24 years old and 40 years old were conveyed conscious to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

"Police investigations are ongoing."

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) provided the following lines:

"SCDF received a call on December 5 at about 1am.

"Six cars were involved in a road traffic accident.

"Three casualties were conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital."
