A woman was seen hitting a man multiple times during an argument that took place this afternoon (Jul 31) near block 245 at Yishun Avenue 9, citizen journalism site Stomp reported.

Contributor Yatie alerted Stomp to the incident with a video showing the man kneeling, and preventing the woman from leaving by holding on to her luggage.

The woman proceeded to slap him hard on his face.

A second slap then almost caused the man to lose balance and fall to the ground.

The man still refused to allow the woman to leave with her belongings, leaving the latter frustrated.

She gave the man four more slaps before walking towards the void deck.

Stomp's contributor then called the police to report the incident.

Later, two policemen were seen questioning the couple at the void deck. It is unclear what happened thereafter.

Yatie told Stomp that she had seen the man two days ago. He was singing loudly at around 1am while looking up a block of flats like he was trying to get the attention of someone.

"I think the couple is too daring," she said.
