Marking S'pore jubilee with donations

The Eurokars group of companies donated $100,000 to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (SPMF) on Thursday as part of celebrations to mark its subsidiary Stuttgart Auto's 30th anniversary and Singapore's Golden jubilee.

A cheque was presented to SPMF chairman Han Fook Kwang (left) by Eurokars executive chairman Karsono Kwee (right) at a gala dinner at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre.

With them is Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, Mr S. Iswaran. Eurokars also gave US$106,110 (S$145,200) to SportCares, a foundation that helps disadvantaged groups, and donated $500,000 to the West Coast Citizens' Consultative Committee.
