SINGAPORE - Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Masagos Zulkifli will be leading a delegation to Brunei for the country's Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations tomorrow.
Mr Masagos, who is also the Second Minister for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs, will be accompanied by his wife Madam Jumelah Ja'afar, Minister of State for National Development and Defence Dr Maliki Osman, Minister of State for National Development Desmond Lee and their spouses.
They will visit Brunei Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah and his wife Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha to convey Hari Raya wishes from Singapore's leaders, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today.
The delegation will also attend a Hari Raya open house hosted by Brunei's Minister of Home Affairs Pehin Badaruddin Othman, and visit other Bruneian ministers and senior officials.
On Wednesday, Mr Masagos will be the guest of honour at an open house organised by the Singapore High Commission in Brunei to celebrate both Hari Raya and Singapore's 50th birthday.
This is the fourth time he is leading a Singapore delegation to join in Brunei's Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.
The delegation will return on Wednesday.
