Masagos Zulkifli to attend G77 summit in Bolivia

Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs Masagos Zulkifli will attend the 50th Anniversary Summit of the Group of 77 (G77) and China in Santa Cruz, Bolivia from June 14 to 15.

At the Summit, leaders and ministers are expected to discuss global issues of concern, including the Post-2015 Development Agenda, the related Sustainable Development Goals and South-South cooperation.

SMS Masagos will have a number of bilateral meetings at the sidelines of the Summit.

The commemorative Summit is organised by Bolivia, the Chair of the G77 in 2014.

The G77 is the largest intergovernmental organisation of developing countries at the United Nations with 133 members.

SMS Masagos' visit is part of Singapore's continued efforts to maintain and strengthen links with other developing countries.
