Merlion to undergo regular cleaning in September

SINGAPORE - The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) would like to inform the public that both Merlion statues at the Merlion Park will undergo regular cleaning from September 5 to 10.

While these works are in progress, the main Merlion statue will be hoarded up and will not be available for photo-taking. The water feature of both statues will also be switched off.

"We seek the public's understanding as the works and barricades may cause some inconvenience during this period," STB said.
