Minister Lui Tuck Yew to visit Japan for APEC transport ministerial meeting

SINGAPORE - Singapore's Minister for Transport Mr Lui Tuck Yew will make an official visit to Tokyo, Japan, from September 4 to 6 to attend the 8th Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation Transportation Ministerial Meeting (APEC TMM8).

At the APEC TMM8, APEC transport ministers will discuss ways to foster closer co-operation in the transport sector in the Asia-Pacific region. The meeting will also explore measures to promote connectivity and enhance transport infrastructure.

During his visit, Minister Lui will also meet Japanese transport companies. He will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Transport and the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.
