SINGAPORE - Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Mininster for Foreign Affairs, as well as Home Affairs Masagos Zulkifli will visit two African countries from June 1 to 5.
Mr Masagos will meet political leaders and senior government officals and business leaders during his visit to Angola and Mozambique.
He will be there to discuss bilateral co-operation and business opportunities, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).
Angola and Mozambique are two of the fastest growing economies in southern Africa.
Mr Masagos' visit is part of a series of ministerial-level visits from Singaproe to Sub-Saharan Africa to signal growing political and economic relations with the region and to explore new markets for Singapore companies.
Mr Masagos will be accompanied by a business delegation comprising representatives from 13 Singapore companies and officials from MFA, Ministry of Trade and Industry and, International Enterprise.
He will also deliver the opening remarks at two separate business forums organised by the Singapore Business Federation in Luanda and Maputo.
