M&M's chocolate edition Singapore flag enters local record books

SINGAPORE - In the lead up to National Day this Saturday, Singaporeans from all over the island joined hands to build a 2.7m by 1.8m flag that has entered the Singapore Book of Records as of 6pm today.

The special edition Singapore flag, which was made out of M&M's limited edition white and red chocolate candies, took seven days to complete.

The total number of chocolate candies used was 17,441.

The fun activity was held at Plaza Singapura as part of the "Go Red This National Day with M&M's" campaign. This is the chocolate brand's first event held in conjunction with Singapore's National Day.

The flag will be displayed at SAFRA Mount Faber for their Nation's 49@MF event, which will be open to the public on Aug 9.
