Models strut down Orchard Road in 'coffee bras'

SINGAPORE - Lingerie brand Sloggi painted the town green on Saturday with their models strutting down Orchard Road in the brand's latest eco-friendly 'coffee' bras and briefs.

A moving stage made of green carpets was created outside Ngee Ann City by using and re-using green carpets as the models showed off the new line of underwear made out of recycled coffee ground fabric.

This is the fourth year Sloggi is launching an eco-friendly line. The "Think Green" collection features bras and briefs made out of a fabric which is UV-resistant, quick drying and odour absorbing.

Sloggi first launched eco efforts in 2011, when it worked with non-profit organisation World Land Trust to produce eco-friendly collections like the "Love World" and "Love Wild" series.

Pieces from the collection are priced from $24.90 for a pair of panties to $74.90 for a bra.
