SINGAPORE - It was a festive mood at Loyang Tua Pek Kong Temple on Wednesday, the eve of Mid-Autumn Festival.

About 10,000 people visited the temple for the event which cost $50,000. Temple chairman George Peh estimated that $20,000 was spent on food at the yearly event, which has been taking place since the 1990s.
