More poaching in parks, reserves

CASES of poaching in Singapore's parks and nature reserves appear to be on the rise, although this could be partly due to greater enforcement efforts.

The National Parks Board (NParks) handed out 273 notices of offences for poaching last year, up from 191 notices in 2013 and 106 in 2012. Illegal fishing made up the bulk of the cases.
