SINGAPORE - The family's next-door neighbour, who wanted to be known only as Mr Tan, 61, told The Sunday Times that the boy was autistic and had lived there for more than five years with his parents, grandmother and 12-year-old brother. He said the family was close-knit and "very private".

WOMAN TO BE CHARGED FOR MURDER
On 13 September 2014 at about 1.02pm, Police had responded to a call for assistance along Tampines Ave 4. Upon Police's arrival, a seven-year-old boy was found lying motionless at the foot of a block at the said location. The boy was pronounced dead by paramedics at scene.
Police have arrested a 42-year-old woman in connection with the case.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 15 September 2014 for the offence of Murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224.
