He then tried to walk in the direction of the bridge to get to the other side of the PIE but entered the expressway by mistake.

The elderly man wanted to go to his daughter-in-law's home in Eunos, which was on the other side of the bridge.

Seeing that the man was in a dangerous situation on the expressway, Elfie stopped his motorcycle to find out what had happened.

He then offered the old man a ride to his daughter-in-law's place and also helped him with his bags.

Elfie also escorted him to the lift lobby when they arrived at the man's destination.

Elfie wrote in his post:

"I hope that [this will] encourage people to go out of their way to help others.

"Do good and good will come to you."

The post has since garnered over 16,000 views and 283 shares, with many netizens lauding his kind-hearted gesture and praising his inspiring act.
