MP Baey Yam Keng discharged from hospital

SINGAPORE - Member of Parliament for Tampines GRC Mr Baey Yam Keng was discharged this morning after being hospitalised on Nov 30 for dengue fever.

He tweeted a photo of his cut hospital wristband with a comment that his platelet count has started to rise and his doctor has allowed him to go home.

He added in a separate tweet that he is "still some way to full recovery", but will be able to make it in time for the opening of a play written and directed by his wife, Lim Hai Yen.

Although there is still some way to full recovery, I will be able to make it for the opening show tonight. It's a full house audience! ☺

Mr Baey is the lead actor and producer of upcoming charity play, Like Me. I Like.

He also tweeted his thanks to "everyone for your concern" and apologised for not being able to reply every single well-wisher.
