Visitors will get to experience the transformation of Maritime Singapore through the years at the new Maritime Heritage Exhibition from Sunday till Friday, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) said in a statement.
As part of the Singapore Maritime Week (SMW), the exhibition features five zones with artefacts, interactive presentations and multimedia displays of the country's maritime history.
It is open to the public free of charge from 10am to 9pm daily till April 24.
The exhibition is jointly organised by MPA and its partners, including the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF), the Singapore Shipping Association (SSA), and the Association of Singapore Marine Industries (ASMI).
The 10th edition of SMW and the exhibition were officially opened on Sunday afternoon by Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Defence Mr Lui Tuck Yew at the Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza.
