SINGAPORE - There should be a project to improve accessibility in districts with a higher population of senior citizens, such as in Chinatown.
I notice that an overhead bridge connecting a shopping mall in Chinatown to a hawker centre has no lifts or escalators.
Elderly and disabled pedestrians have to climb up the long flight of stairs.
There are also few lifts in older shopping malls like Pearl's Centre.
