N Korea's vice minister for foreign affairs in Singapore for SE Asia visit

SINGAPORE - The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Ri Gil Song paid a courtesy call on Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs Masagos Zulkifli at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.

SMS Masagos and Vice Foreign Minister Ri discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries, and also exchanged views on regional and international developments, including the importance of lowering tensions and maintaining peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.

Vice Foreign Minister Ri is on a regional visit to several Southeast Asian countries and is visiting Singapore from Feb 9 to 12. During his visit, he will also meet with senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
