SINGAPORE - This year's National Day Parade (NDP) and ceremony will see the largest number of civilian contingents participating, representing 16 social and economic groups.
According to a government statement, these civilian companies and organisations will showcase how far Singapore has come both economically and socially in the past 50 years.
Companies that are participating for the first time include Comfort DelGro, Changi Airport Group and Singapore Power.
In total, NDP 2015 will involve more than 2,000 people in 37 contingents, with participants going through about 200 hours of training.
