New fare adjustments by March

New train and bus fare adjustments will be announced by March next year.

The Public Transport Council said on Monday that public transport operators will have to submit applications for fare adjustments by Dec 19 and the council will announce its decision in the first quarter of next year.

The council said the fare review will be for 2013 as well as 2012, which was suspended pending the work of the Fare Review Mechanism Committee.
