New Zealand and Singapore reaffirm good bilateral relations

SINGAPORE - New Zealand Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Bill English, who is on a working visit to Singapore, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong today.

During their meeting, PM Lee and Mr English reaffirmed the excellent and longstanding bilateral relations between Singapore and New Zealand.

They also exchanged views on developments in the region and beyond.

In addition, DPM English called on his counterpart, DPM and Minister for Finance Tharman Shanmugaratnam.

DPM English leaves Singapore this evening.
