SINGAPORE - I am perplexed by the reply from the Personal Data Protection Commission ("Some junk mail not under data protection laws"; last Saturday), where an example cited would be junk mail that is not addressed to any specific individual but delivered to a resident's letterbox.
I suggest putting a sticker on the letterbox saying "no unaddressed mail" and that SingPost should comply with this instruction and not put such mail in our letterboxes.
The Personal Data Protection Commission should consider this option in the law.
