Non-ticketed performances at Esplanade cancelled during mourning period

SINGAPORE - Non-ticketed performances at the Esplanade have been cancelled for the duration of National Mourning (March 23-29).

A spokesperson from the Esplanade said in a statement: "As a mark of respect for the passing of Singapore’s founding Prime Minister Mr Lee Kuan Yew, scheduled non-ticketed performances will not take place at the Concourse and Outdoor Theatre during this period of National Mourning from March 23 to 29, 2015".

The spokesperson added that ticketed performances will continue as scheduled until further notice.

The centre's premises will remain accessible to the public during the period.
