Norway's Ministry of Foreign Affairs State Secretary visits Singapore

SINGAPORE - State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway Mr Morten Høglund called on Second Minister for Foreign Affairs Ms Grace Fu on Friday, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) in a statement.

During the meeting, Mr Høglund congratulated Singapore on its Golden Jubilee.

Mr Høglund and Ms Fu also expressed satisfaction with the close co-operation between Singapore and Norway and exchanged views on regional developments.

After the meeting, Mr Høglund and his delegation of officials from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended a lunch hosted by Second Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs Mr Albert Chua.

Mr Høglund and the Norwegian delegation will depart Singapore on Friday evening.
